Our fresh-from-the-farm Indonesian cashews are made using our grandma’s recipe. Sweet & Salty was her signature flavor, and still remains a family favorite. We mash fresh garlic, sea salt and sugar into a flavorful paste and combine until the nuts are nicely coated. The cashews are then slow-roasted in coconut oil for hours to allow the flavors to develop and deepen. Roasting the nuts in small batches ensures a satisfyingly sweet and savory crunch in every plump cashew. Perfect to munch on with beer! About Nuts + Nuts snacks: What makes Nuts + Nuts special is the care we take in sourcing our nuts and ingredients. We do not simply buy our ingredients from a distributor/middlemen, instead we work directly with preferably family owned farmers and producers. For example, for the maple syrup in our almonds, we work with family owned farm in Vermont, artisanal olive oil and rosemary from family owned producer in California. First, we undertake extensive research to identify the right partners. Then, we get in touch with like-minded farms/businesses to learn more about their practice and plan visits if needed. Finally, we conduct batch testing to ensure process and quality meets our expectation.
