Check the sleeve, bowl and lid separately before disposing of them. Look for material markings and disposal instructions on each component.
Choose the correct disposal route
Follow the instructions on the item and check what your local recycling or composting service accepts. One recyclable component does not establish that the rest of the packaging belongs in the same stream.
If a component is marked compostable, check the accepted disposal route before putting it in recycling or compost.
An item is unmarked or unclear
Send support photos of the bowl, lid and any markings. Include the meal name or sleeve so the team can identify the packaging.
Keep the sleeve or label available for the meal name, ingredients, nutrition information and supplied instructions. For delivery bags, see return your delivery bags. Ask support what to do with ice packs.
